New bike dilemma.
I got my partner, bike nicked couple of weeks ago. Trek 7.3FX, I learnt how to ride, how to enjoy, becoming a part of wind, landscape in London with that. Some says, having 5 years that’s long enough to keep it in London without getting nicked, perhaps that’s right. I tried so many of them from Evans, Cyclesurgery, Tokyobike etc. All very shiny and good. But still none of them...

useful advices for london cyclists
In reply to SimoneMichelle’s (two names for the price of one!) post, here’s 10 top tips: 1. To master London traffic, ride fast and alert. No music in the ears or lazily cruising along. 2. Never undertake (pass on the...

Police State & Critical Mass in New York (2006): WeAreChange.org attends a Critical Mass gathering in New York City during the summer…Police video anyone filming events as a means of intimidation. Police state that lining up police vans and scooter patrols as well as bringing captains and other suits to the scene ahead of time is not meant to intimidate people. Incidentally, we saw...

Flat tire.
As I arrived to Shadwell at 8:35am usual time for the work, my back tire goes ‘pssssssssss’. It went complete flat! I left the bike there until the afternoon. Jaydee brought inner tire and little bike fix kit to exchange, and get the outter tire out, put inner tire inside. It was dirty hands-on job, and soon tire got fully pumped! And off to go home. :) Happy.

Critical Mass in SF: Critical Mass started in 1992 in San Francisco as an organized event to promote bicycle transportation but has evolved over the years as a loose gathering of people who enjoy biking, roller blading and other means of alternative transportation. Throughout the years a central location and time have been established in cities around the world and therefore there is no need...
